JWSR was founded by James Watson in April, 2020.

James was born and raised in New Jersey, spending most of his life in Andover, NJ. He is proud of being a volunteer EMT on Wantage First Aid Squad and an Eagle Scout.

JWSR AT A GLANCE

JWSR is a company that is able to tackle most outdoor projects for the complete satisfaction of its customers. The company has grown considerably from the time it started in 2020. Today, it has many machines, equipment, trucks, and employees in the fleet to tackle all of the day to day operations.

In 2020 & 2021 JWSR was a Landscaping company only. Simple lawn maintenance, as well as easy tasks like mulching and spring/fall cleanups. Quickly, James became overwhelmed with the workload on his plate and began hiring employees to help him tackle the tasks and better serve his clientele. With more clientele, came requests for different tasks and projects. It was always apart of James' vision to break into the excavation industry, but this was the path he chose to build up capital to pay for equipment, insurance, and vehicles.

By 2022, JWSR was equipped to handle almost any outdoor project that a customer needed completing. JWSR had acquired dump trucks, dump trailers, excavators, skid steers, a backhoe, and a bunch of other assets to be able to tackle what was at hand.

By 2023, JWSR had employees that fully transitioned into the utility construction industry. They install underground telecommunications for local Internet Service Providers in the area such as Planet Networks, Brightspeed, Optimum, and a few smaller providers. In 2023, JWSR installed over 400,000 linear feet of conduit for the use of Fiber Optics. This accounted for over 3,000 homes being able to have access to high speed internet.

In 2024, new contracts and regions were established for JWSR in the Telecommunications realm. This resulted in over 2,000 homes being serviced in 2024.

For 2025, the goal for JWSR is to be a one-stop-shop for the residential clients. From lawn and property management, to brand new construction. On the commercial side, JWSR's goal is to create more lasting relationships with builders, general contractors, realtors, and developers to expand further on the excavation side of the business. And lastly, on the telecommunications side of the business, JWSR looks to begin aerial telecommunications construction to meet the needs and demands of the underserved community.
