The Molitor Water Pollution Control Facility on North Passaic Avenue is the Joint Meeting's principal office, and the Joint Meeting exists to run a sewerage system for two boroughs, Chatham and Madison, rather than for either one. Being the borough that hosts the works does not mean the borough decides on its own, which is the first thing worth knowing when a connection needs approving.
