Utility Construction & Repair

Water, sewer, and underground utility installation, trenching, and emergency repair.

Underground utility work is what we do best. JWSR installs and repairs water and sewer lines, service laterals, conduit, and storm drainage, from new construction tie-ins to emergency dig-outs. We trench, install, connect, backfill, and restore the grade, and we work fast because utility problems do not wait.

How we do it

Every utility job starts the same way: markouts called in, the run walked, and the plan agreed before a machine starts. We open the trench to the depth the utility and code require, bed the line properly, and set conduit or pipe with the fittings and tracer wire the next contractor will thank us for.

Connections get made or coordinated with the town or utility authority, inspections get scheduled so nothing sits open, and then we backfill in compacted lifts so the trench never telegraphs through your lawn or pavement later. The job is finished when the surface is restored, not when the pipe is in.

Common questions

Utility Construction & Repair: what people ask us

Do you work for homeowners, or only for utility companies and towns?

Both. Homeowners call us for water and sewer service lines, conduit runs, and storm drainage, and utility companies, municipalities, and builders use us as their underground crew. Same equipment, same standards, either way.

Do you handle utility markouts before digging?

Yes, on every single job. We call in the 811 markout and wait for the marks before a bucket touches the ground. It is free, it is the law in New Jersey, and it is how everyone stays safe.

Can you tie a new line into the main?

Yes. We excavate, install the line, and make or coordinate the tap into the municipal main, working with your town or utility authority so inspections and permits are handled properly.
