The part that changes the job here
Sewer here is a set of small islands rather than a network. NJDEP maps only about 6.7% of Clinton Township inside a sewer service area, and the pieces are telling: the largest share goes to the Town of Clinton's plant, and the rest is institutional, a correctional facility, an insurance company campus, a couple of private communities. Public water is not much broader at roughly 27%, nearly all of it Clinton Water Department, with the remainder split between a treatment center, a care center and slivers of High Bridge and NJ American Water. Outside those pockets this is well and septic country.
The Clinton Township Sewerage Authority rebuilt the pump station that carries the Beaver Brook service area, closing about $2 million in NJ Water Bank loans for it and finishing in early 2026. The new station is a fresh wet well with submersible pumps, an influent manhole, a valve chamber with a discharge flow meter and a precast electrical building with new controls, and the authority says it is sized to carry the current high school and to support future development in the Beaver Brook Sewer Service Area rather than just to replace what was there. Capacity built ahead of development is worth knowing about if you are planning anything that needs a connection in that area.
